Professor D.Q. Liu, the renowned Chinese artist and calligraphist and professor at the Guangdong Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, will present his second solo exhibition this November, entitled Voice of Water and Ink. Many of his pieces feature scenes from nature, and his portraits of horses and tigers have gained especially vocal acclaim.
Held in Honolulu at 1132 Bishop Street in the lobby, this month-long exhibition is free and open to the public.
