The Sheraton Waikiki in Honolulu will host its second annual Over the Edge of Waikiki Rappelling Fundraiser tomorrow, Nov. 5. Adrenaline-seekers will rappel down the 31 stories of the Sheraton hotel in an effort to raise funds for the Special Olympics Hawai’i for the December Holiday Classics Olympics.
Rappellers are required to raise $1000 each in order to participate. Individuals may watch the rappelling action and support the cause for no charge, though donations are encouraged.
The fundraiser will last from 10 am to 6 pm.
