Master Sculptor Ed Moody will again spend two days carving a 1000-pound pumpkin at the Second Annual Pumpkin Carving Festival hosted by Matson and the Honolulu Star Advertiser from Friday Oct. 21 through Saturday Oct. 22.

On Friday, four teams will compete against each other in the Corporate Carving Competition to match their pumpkins to specified motifs, namely Ghouls and Goblins, Comic Book Characters, Mythology, and Music Legends.

The festival costs $30 per family for one day or $55 per family for both days.  Funds raised will benefit the Keiki o ka Aina (KOKA) Family Learning Centers and Hawai’i Children’s Discovery Center.  Check out www.pumpkincarvingfestival.org to make a reservation or learn more information.
