The market features fresh produce, delicious local Hawaiian food, handmade goods, and more. It’s the perfect place to experience community, culture, and aloha.
While visiting Waianae, music fans shouldn’t miss the Israel Kamakawiwoʻole statue at the Waianae Neighborhood Community Center at 85-670 Farrington Hwy #3, Waianae. The memorial pays homage to one of the most popular Hawaiians of his generation. He is most remembered for his voice-and-Martin tenor ukulele medley of two great American standards: “Somewhere Over the Rainbow: and “What a Wonderful World.”
