The Waianae Coast is one area most tourists miss while on their Oahu vacation. The trip to the coastline is about a half hour drive from Ko Olina but worth it to see the timeless side of Hawaii. The Waianae coast stretches 20 miles from the town of Nanakuli to Makua Beach. While there, you can experience the scenic beaches of Makua, Makaha, Ohikilolo, Nanakuli, Maili Beach Park, and Pokai Beach Park. Each one has its own unique charm but is sure to provide a distinctive experience on the leeward side of Oahu.
