This weekend, the Center for Hawaiian Studies of the University of Hawai’i in Honolulu will host the annual Native American Flute and Storytelling Contest in conjunction with the American Indian Pow Wow Association. Flute players will showcase a variety of traditional musical styles that echo Hawai’i’s Native American culture.
